Today, we woke up at about 7:30 and finally got here to Washington DC. The first thing we did when we got here was get all of our stuff into our rooms at William Penn House. Then we met Caroline, and she is going to help us the rest of the week. Telling us what we're going to be doing. Today, we went to a community garden. We pulled weeds, planted tomatoes, & squash & beans, & all these other vegetables. Momma would be so proud of me! I pulled weeds! Then after we were done pulling weeds, and what not, we went to the Union Station. It's kinda like a mall, and a food place, so you can shop & eat! It was really cool, and fun! Hopefully the rest of the week will be just as fun as today!
